Dr Jonathan Tan graduated from the University of Melbourne and completed advanced interventional endoscopy training at The Alfred Hospital before undertaking a one-year fellowship at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver — a world-renowned liver transplant centre specialising in ERCP and EUS.
Back in Melbourne, Jonathan holds a senior public appointment at Box Hill Hospital and maintains an active research and multidisciplinary practice, attending Epworth's weekly Gastrointestinal MDT meetings.
